BIOGRAPHY
"Pianist” - "Composer" was born in Monfalcone – Gorizia- Italy, in 1979.
His relationship with music started when he was about 13 years old. His first performances were with the early young pop-rock bands in the late 90s’ which deepened this passion for music.
He began creating music very soon after starting classic piano studies feelings his appreciation of different styles. During the years he has continued to play in local bands and had many collaborations experimenting in different genres and styles.
Today his musical style is contemporary and spontaneous based mainly on the piano.
The music is characterized by veiled melancholy, a romance highlighted by emotional notes, melodies that distinguish and showcase his character and personal style.
His debut solo album entitled “#Introspective" released on December, the 8th 2015, is inspired by this character, the mood and feel is influenced by the events, situations, sensations and perceptions that are part of Life…
In 2015 he participated in the 3rd edition of "Cervignano Film Festival" (Ud - Italy) with his track and video "Awake" in the video section "Friuli Venezia Giulia" arriving among the finalists.
In 2016 the "live" and "radio" promotional phase has begun in some local and national broadcasters, from RLT web radio in Rome, RAI TRE Region FVG in the program "I Bombi inconsapevoli", RADIO PUNTO ZERO 3V, in broadcast "Damilano" by Igor Damilano and RADIO SPAZIO, in the program "Avventure Soniche" by Ugo Falcone.
The first edition of the "Marca Aperta" cultural and visual magazine of 2016, the No. 1 editor Mario Fontana, has decided to dedicate a wonderful review of #Introspective.
In some "Live", Gabriele had the opportunity to meet different artists and musicians of various genres, beginning with the writer Marco Spadaccini, for the "Pathos Tempore" project, a mix of writing and music, born from the common search for the desire to convey emotions.
After experiencing the "4D cinema" he was able to meet violinist Stefano Zeni and Layla Santangelo, artists / musicians who have collaborated with many famous national and international artists and will see their musical contribution in the second new Upcoming self-produced CD.
On March, the 15th, 2019 the second self-produced album "Metamorphosis" is released by "RNC MUSIC" of Milan (IT)
METAMORPHOSIS - THE MUTATION - THE CHANGE.
This "mutation" was born on the roots of #Introspective, after finishing the #Introspective recordings a new "experimental" musical phase began where emotions, sensations and situations, which gave life to the previous work, have undergone a real artistic-structural mutation, influenced and matured by research and musical insights mainly in the ambient / lounge genre, in soundtracks, ranging in the Deep House and it is precisely through social media, Spotify and Youtube, which offer visibility, as well as being excellent and functional services for streaming music and video on-demand, which I was able to meet new artists and listen to new music every day, based on the taste, the mood, the situations that are created.
The new work started during the promotional and experimental phase of #Introspective, allowed me to meet professional musicians, I was lucky enough to meet and get to know, at the Auditorium "Parco della Musica" in Rome, during an "improvised" performance of the song #Introspective, the opera singer Laila Santangelo, who captured by my music, improvised accompanying me with a melody the song I was playing. A friendship and a project was born, which led me to write "Fragile" one of the songs on the disc.
Through social media I had the opportunity to get in touch with the composer and arranger violinist Stefano Zeni, who over the years has also collaborated and played alongside well-known Italian artists, Eugenio Finardi, Antonella Ruggiero, Fabio Concato to name a few, immediately began a beautiful understanding, harmony and synergy in communion, from there the choice to entrust him with some arrangements of strings and "solo", inserted in the album and recorded in his studio in Desenzano del Garda.
Recorded mainly in my Home Studio, with the piano and my inseparable computer, with commitment and determination, under the constant supervision of Francesco "Franz" Contadini, well-known producer / pianist and DJ, to whom I again entrusted the mixing and mastering carried out in his recording studio "SupersonicStudio", in Cervignano del Friuli (UD), obtaining an innovative and alternative sound, fully satisfied with the final result.
Icelandic inspiration and the "travelogue" transported to music ...
It all starts in summer 2019, during a trip to Iceland, an adventure that has turned into music. Atmospheres, images, colors and lights stimulated my creativity. I brought with me a small "travel diary", a map, an IPod and an inevitable curiosity, which also arose from the music from the Nordic countries, in particular the music ÓlafurArnalds, by Snorri Hallgrímsson e of the Sigur Rós group.
Some "drafts" and musical ideas were created by observing nature, landscapes and the surrounding environment, indescribable emotions and sensations, fed daily by the numerous excursions and "discoveries", from frozen lakes, immense waterfalls, geysers, famous Diamond Beach, the black beach of Vίk, Gullfoss ...
Wonderful places that leave the viewer "breathtaking".
I crossed Iceland with a minivan along the only main road, the "Ring Road", state road no. 1, which has several branches, and is the ring that connects the capital Reykjavík with the villages scattered along the coast, almost "easily" reachable.
I could say that I have "understood" the beauties of this volcanic island, but also a good part of its soul, a reason that prompted me to create 12 unreleased songs, like 12 days passed, entirely dedicated to Iceland.
On the July, the10th 2019, my 40th birthday, I had the pleasure of performing on the stage of "Studentakjallarin", the university center of Reykjavík, an event organized by Roberto Luigi Pagani, researcher, university teacher and famous blogger of "An Italian in Iceland ”which I involved for the translation of the tracklist of my songs into Icelandic.
Enthusiastic about my project, I've immediately contacted my violinist friend Stefano Zeni and the musician-composer and friend, Francesco “Franz” Contadini, and let them listen to some of the material that I had already recorded and prepared in my Home Recording after the Icelandic experience. this is how my third and new self-produced album was born, “ISLAND”, published by RNC MUSIC ITALY.

Il suo rapporto con la musica inizia all'età di 13 anni.
Decide di approfondire questa sua passione durante le sue prime performance musicali con alcune giovani band pop-rock del monfalconese alla fine degli anni '90,.
Inizia a comporre musica molto presto dopo l’approccio agli studi di pianoforte classico e ai diversi stili musicali.
Nel corso degli anni continua a suonare con gruppi locali e collabora a progetti musicali sperimentando generi diversi.
Oggi, il suo stile musicale contemporaneo e spontaneo, si basa principalmente sul pianoforte. La sua musica è caratterizzata da una velata malinconia , sottolineata da note romantiche, melodie emozionali che lo contraddistinguono.
L'08 dicembre 2015 è uscito il suo primo album di debutto solista, #Introspective, un viaggio introspettivo all'interno delle emozioni, percezioni e sensazioni che fanno parte della Vita...
Nel 2015 ha partecipato alla 3° edizione di “Cervignano Film Festival” con il suo brano e video “Awake” nella sezione video “Friuli Venezia Giulia” arrivando tra i finalisti.
Nel 2016 è iniziata anche la fase promozionale “live” e “radiofonica” in alcune emittenti locali e nazionali, dalla web-radio RLT di Roma, a RAI TRE Regione FVG nel programma “I Bombi inconsapevoli”, RADIO PUNTO ZERO 3V, nella trasmissione “Damilano” di Igor Damilano e RADIO SPAZIO, nel programma
“Avventure Soniche” di Ugo Falcone.
La prima edizione della rivista culturale di arte e spettacolo “Marca Aperta” del 2016, la N. 1 editore Mario Fontana, ha deciso di dedicare una bellissima recensione di #Introspective.
In alcuni “Live” Gabriele ha avuto l’occasione di incontrare diversi artisti e musicisti di vario genere, iniziando dallo scrittore Marco Spadaccini, per il progetto “Pathos Tempore” , connubio tra scrittura e musica, nato dalla ricerca accomunante del desiderio di trasmettere emozioni.
Dopo l’esperienza del “cinema in 4 D”, ha incontrato artisti e musicisti, tra cui il violinista Stefano Zeni e il soprano Layla Santangelo, che vantano di diverse collaborazioni in studio anche con noti artisti nazionali ed internazionali, e vedrà il loro apporto musicale nel secondo nuovo CD autoprodotto di prossima uscita.
Il 15 marzo 2019 viene pubblicato dall'etichetta discografica "RNC MUSIC" di Milano (IT) il secondo album autoprodotto dal titolo:
METAMORPHOSIS – LA MUTAZIONE – IL CAMBIAMENTO
Questa “mutazione” è nata sulle radici di #Introspective, dopo aver terminato le registrazioni di #Introspective è iniziata una nuova fase musicale “sperimentale” dove emozioni, sensazioni e situazioni, che hanno dato vita al precedete lavoro, hanno subìto una vera e propria mutazione artistica-strutturale, influenzata e maturata da ricerche e approfondimenti musicali principalmente nel genere ambient/lounge, nelle colonne sonore, spaziando nella Deep House ed è proprio attraverso i social media, Spotify e Youtube, che offrono visibilità, oltre ad essere ottimi e funzionali servizi per lo streaming musicale e video on-demand, che ho potuto conoscere nuovi artisti e ascoltare quotidianamente nuova musica, in base al gusto, allo stato d’animo, alle situazioni che si creano.
Il nuovo lavoro iniziato durante la fase promozionale e sperimentale di #Introspective, mi ha permesso d’incontrare dei musicisti professionisti, ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare e conoscere, all’Auditorium Parco della Musica di Roma, durante una performance “improvvisata” del brano #Introspective, la cantante lirica Laila Santangelo, la quale catturata dalla mia musica, ha improvvisato accompagnandomi con una melodia il brano che stavo suonando. E’ nata un’amicizia e un progetto, che mi ha portato a scrivere “Fragile” uno dei brani presenti nel disco.
Attraverso i social media ho avuto l’opportunità di entrare in contatto, con il violinista compositore e arrangiatore Stefano Zeni, che negli anni ha anche collaborato e suonato al fianco di noti artisti italiani, Eugenio Finardi, Antonella Ruggiero, Fabio Concato per citarne qualcuno, fin da subito è iniziata una bellissima intesa, sintonia e sinergia in comunione, da lì la scelta di affidargli alcuni arrangiamenti di archi e “solo”, inseriti nell’album e registrati nel suo studio a Desenzano del Garda.
Registrato prevalentemente nel mio Home Studio, con il pianoforte e il mio inseparabile computer, con impegno e determinazione, sotto la costante supervisione di Francesco “Franz” Contadini, noto produttore/pianista e Dj, a cui ho nuovamente affidato il mixing e il mastering realizzati nel suo studio di registrazione “SupersonicStudio”, di Cervignano del Friuli (UD), ottenendo un sound innovativo e alternativo, pienamente soddisfatto del risultato finale.
L'ispirazione islandese e il "diario di viaggio" trasportato in musica...
Tutto inizia nell'estate 2019, durante un viaggio in Islanda, un'avventura che si è trasformata in musica.
Atmosfere, immagini, colori e luci hanno stimolato la mia creatività.
Ho portato con me un piccolo “diario di viaggio”, una mappa, un IPod e un’immancabile curiosità, scaturita anche dalla musica proveniente dai paesi nordici, in particolare la musica ÓlafurArnalds, di Snorri Hallgrímsson e del gruppo Sigur Rós.
Alcune “bozze” e idee musicali sono state proprio realizzate osservando la natura, i paesaggi e l’ambiente circostante, emozioni e sensazioni indescrivibili, alimentate quotidianamente dalle numerose escursioni e “scoperte”, dai laghi ghiacciati, le immense cascate, i geyser, la famosa Diamond Beach, la spiaggia nera di Vίk, Gullfoss… luoghi meravigliosi che lasciano lo spettatore “senza parole”.
Ho attraversato l’Islanda con un minivan percorrendo l’unica strada principale la "Ring Road", statale n. 1, che ha diverse diramazioni, ed è l'anello che collega la capitale Reykjavík con i villaggi sparsi lunga la costa, quasi “facilmente” raggiungibili.
Potrei dire di aver "compreso" le bellezze di quest’isola vulcanica, ma anche buona parte della sua anima, ragione che mi ha spinto a realizzare 12 brani inediti, come 12 giorni trascorsi, interamente a lei dedicati.
Il 10.07.2019, il giorno del mio 40° compleanno, ho avuto il piacere di esibirmi sul palco dello “Studentakjallarin”, il centro universitario di Reykjavík, evento organizzato da Roberto Luigi Pagani, ricercatore, insegnante universitario e famoso blogger di “Un italiano in Islanda” che ho coinvolto per la traduzione della tracklist dei miei brani in islandese.
Entusiasta del progetto, ho contattato subito il mio amico violinista Stefano Zeni e il musicista-compositore e amico, Francesco “Franz” Contadini, e fatto ascoltare parte del materiale che avevo già registrato e preparato nel mio Home Recording dopo l’esperienza islandese, è nato così il mio terzo e nuovo album autoprodotto, “ISLAND”, pubblicato dalla RNC MUSIC ITALIA!
